Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac cath lab radiologic imaging for procedures such as LHC and RHC, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Circulate in the cardiac cath lab, supporting physicians and the procedural team to maintain smooth, efficient cases
• Provide moderate sedation monitoring and safe patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Document procedures and patient information accurately using the Merge documentation system
• Adhere to ACLS and BLS protocols and respond promptly to emergencies
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips/Siemens) and ensure proper setup for each case
• Support unit workflow by communicating clearly with techs, unit secretaries, and clinicians

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (cardiac cath lab or radiology procedural experience preferred)
• Proven experience as a cath lab circulating tech and in administering/monitoring moderate sedation
• Comfortable with a variety of cardiac procedures (LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP) and advanced devices
• Familiarity with Merge documentation system is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with Merge documentation workflows
• Experience with cardiac cath procedures (LHC, RHC) and structural/coronary interventions
• Knowledge of advanced therapies and devices: TAVR, TEER, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM
• Skilled in peripheral interventions and endovascular AAA support
• Comfortable operating and troubleshooting Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Strong patient monitoring skills and sedation safety practices
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and sterile technique
