Location: Bakersfield, California

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM shifts, one weekend every third weekend with Monday and Friday off

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care to 12+ patients daily across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER units
Develop personalized rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from TKA, THA, spinal surgery, and CVA
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and recovery timelines
Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement evidence-based treatment interventions
Support patients through acute inpatient rehabilitation with compassion and expertise

Qualifications

Active California PT license required
BLS certification required
Acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
Strong assessment and rehabilitation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Physical Therapy expertise in acute care settings
Patient assessment and individualized care planning
Rehabilitation techniques for orthopedic and neurological conditions
Ability to work effectively across medical-surgical, ICU, and ER environments
