Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure patients’ drug therapy needs are met by reviewing and managing medication regimens
• Oversee clinical pharmacy services including medication therapy management and safety checks
• Manage drug distribution workflows such as unit dose and IV admixture preparation oversight
• Contribute to teaching and training initiatives for staff and learners
• Support administrative functions and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in clinical research or quality improvement projects to advance patient care
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the care team, patients, and families

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience required (retail-only experience not sufficient)
• Familiarity with unit dose systems and IV admixtures
• Strong computer skills and comfort with hospital pharmacy technologies
• Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory compliance and medication safety
• Self-directed, organized, and an excellent communicator
• Current pharmacist licensure as required by state regulations (or eligibility to obtain)
