Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, and skilled nursing settings to evaluate functional abilities
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that improve independence and quality of life
Deliver skilled OT interventions and monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
Document evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning accurately in the EMR
Independently manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients and families
Engage in continuous professional learning and contribute to clinical quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Active California Occupational Therapist License in good standing
Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification
2-3 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or outpatient settings
Proficiency with EMR documentation and general computer skills
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with commitment to ongoing professional development

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational Therapy clinical assessment and treatment planning
EMR documentation best practices
Caseload management across multiple care settings
Acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, and skilled nursing workflows
Patient-centered care and compassionate communication
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Computer proficiency and familiarity with healthcare systems

Benefits

Full-time sign-on bonus: $10,000
Part-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
13-step clinical pay scale with longevity progression up to 30 years
