Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment safely and competently to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Prepare and position patients with care and clear communication to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to optimize imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and image management in Centricity PACS
• Adhere to MRI safety policies, screening procedures and infection control standards
• Assist with patient transport and unit workflow to keep the schedule running smoothly
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly when needed

Qualifications

• Valid MRI license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience (as listed in the posting)
• Familiarity with Signa Artist 1.5T MRI equipment is a strong plus
• Experience using Centricity PACS and Meditech documentation systems
• Excellent patient communication skills and ability to work within a team

Education

• Formal training in MRI or Radiologic Technology (Associates degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven MRI technical skills and protocol knowledge
• Operation of Signa Artist 1.5T MRI scanners
• Image retrieval and management with Centricity PACS
• Electronic charting and documentation in Meditech
• Strong understanding of MRI safety and screening
• Patient handling and transport best practices
