Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams accurately and compassionately, following ordered protocols
• Position patients safely and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Operate MRI equipment while adhering to safety protocols and infection control
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members for high-quality imaging
• Maintain accurate documentation and verify patient identity and exam details
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklist activities to maintain excellence
• Assist with equipment setup, minor troubleshooting, and quality assurance tasks

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification (required)
• Valid professional license or certification with verification on file
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist and Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Current health screenings per facility requirements (COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Fit Test, Hep B, Influenza vaccine, TB testing, Varicella, physical/health statement, drug screen, color vision)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced imaging environment and following safety protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of MRI scanning principles and safety practices
• Proficient in patient positioning and acquiring diagnostic-quality images
• Familiarity with MRI equipment operation and basic troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Understanding of infection control, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience completing competency-based checklists and specialty testing
