Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret cardiac rhythms to identify changes and act promptly
• Continuously monitor a high volume of patients (large central monitoring unit) and prioritize alerts
• Build end-of-shift reports and maintain accurate documentation within the GE Carescape system
• Add and discharge patients in GE Carescape and keep an organized running call log
• Communicate clearly and professionally with floor staff via desktop phone and iPhone app
• Multitask effectively while maintaining composure during high-stress situations
• Contribute to a positive, organized, detail-oriented unit culture that supports patient safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in remote monitoring or related telemetry roles
• Telemetry competency with the ability to pass a basic cardiac rhythm test
• Comfortable analyzing and interpreting heart rhythms quickly and accurately
• Proficient typing and basic computer skills (documentation and reporting required)
• Able to use an iPhone application for clinical communication
• Excellent attendance, professionalism, and the ability to remain calm under stress
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Required certifications: None
• Preferred: CNA background, cardiac nursing experience, ECG board certification, previous GE monitoring experience

• Experience with GE Carescape monitoring system
• High-volume patient monitoring and alert prioritization
• Clear desktop phone and mobile (iPhone app) communication skills

• Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic medical terminology (preferred)
