Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment services including individual, group, and family psychotherapy to assigned consumers.
• Deliver emergency and crisis intervention services as needed, using sound judgment and clinical skills.
• Offer information, referral, and consumer support services to help clients navigate care and community resources.
• Develop and conduct community education and consultation activities to support program goals and outreach.
• Collaborate with the Director of Outreach Services and Clinical Manager to ensure quality care and appropriate documentation.
• Provide direct services or consultation for special populations when qualified under WAC 246-341-0515 (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, emergency services).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW, or MHP (required).
• Minimum of two years' experience in the treatment of consumers in the assigned program area (explicit requirement).
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and the ability to provide direct client services with minimal supervision.
• Ability to assess community issues affecting mental health programs and exercise good clinical judgment.
• Qualification under WAC 246-341-0515 for any additional specialty (children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, emergency services) if providing those services.

Education

• Master's degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field (required).

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of mental health therapeutic techniques and clinical treatment services.
• Experience delivering individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Crisis and emergency services competence, including assessment and intervention.
• Skill in information and referral, consumer support, and community education/consultation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with clinical leadership.
• Familiarity with serving special populations and applicable Washington administrative code (WAC 246-341-0515).
