Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support during clinic visits
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient assessments and procedures
Obtain vital signs and document patient history accurately and professionally
Collect specimens and perform routine point-of-care testing when required
Maintain clean, safe clinical environments and adhere to infection control standards
Communicate clearly with patients and the care team to ensure smooth clinic flow

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; you treat patients like people, not charts
Ability to handle multiple clinic tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient interaction and bedside manner
Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and infection control
Comfort with basic documentation and following clinic workflows
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
A helpful, calm attitude under pressure
