Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their appointment
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
Assist clinicians with ambulatory procedures and patient care tasks
Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed
Update electronic health records accurately and efficiently
Manage patient flow and rooming to keep the clinic running smoothly
Coordinate follow-ups, referrals, and patient instructions
Participate in orientation and contribute to a positive clinic team environment

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with phlebotomy and basic clinical procedures
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate charting
Knowledge of clinical vitals, infection control, and ambulatory workflows
Skilled in patient triage, rooming, and basic procedure assistance
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy clinic
Professional bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
