Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for their visit with professionalism
Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit accurately
Assist clinicians with procedures and exams in the ambulatory setting
Manage clinical documentation in the electronic medical record with attention to detail
Collect and label specimens, perform point-of-care testing as directed
Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and restock clinical supplies
Communicate clearly with patients and team members to coordinate care

Qualifications

Current Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training preferred
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) for patient safety
Comfortable working in an ambulatory/clinic environment and supporting fast-paced workflows
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you’re the friendly face patients appreciate
Ability to pass background checks and facility-required onboarding/orientation

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or vocational training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in taking vitals and basic clinical measurements
Familiarity with basic clinical procedures and infection control practices
Comfortable with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a clinic setting
Compassionate patient interaction and effective teamwork
