Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned residents
Monitor and document patient status, recognizing and reporting changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely according to care plans
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care continuity
Complete accurate clinical documentation and handoffs for patient safety
Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure)
Active BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Prior experience working in long-term care, hospital, or clinical setting preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Ability to work 12+ hour shifts and adapt to unit scheduling needs

Education

Vocational or Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and medication administration
Proficiency in patient assessment and documenting clinical findings
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Comfortable using electronic medical records and charting systems
Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
