Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately under scope of practice
• Monitor and document vital signs, patient changes, and care provided
• Communicate effectively with the care team and report concerns promptly
• Support resident comfort and dignity while assisting with daily living activities
• Participate in care planning and help implement individualized care goals
• Maintain clean, safe clinical environments and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Pennsylvania preferred
• Active basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing assignment schedules
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and safety protocols
• Comfort with electronic and paper charting systems
• Ability to perform routine nursing procedures and resident assessments
• Good communication skills with patients, families, and staff
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced care settings
• Understanding of infection control and standard precautions
