Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting accurately
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient comfort and daily living activities while promoting dignity
• Collaborate with nurses and providers to implement individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and handoffs
• Adhere to infection control standards and facility safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working independently on per diem assignments and adapting to varied units
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Ability to perform patient assessments and recognize changes in condition
• Familiarity with electronic charting and accurate documentation practices
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient safety
