Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care following physician orders and facility protocols
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and support patient comfort and safety
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to promote positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely charting and adhere to compliance and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — NC license preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtainable upon hire
• Ability to work a 12.5-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Strong clinical assessment and patient communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing patient needs
• Professional attitude, reliable attendance, and willingness to collaborate

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing skills including medication administration and wound care
• Familiarity with patient documentation and electronic medical records
• Basic assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and the care team
• Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
