Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents/patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Document care in the patient chart and maintain clear communication
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team
Support activities of daily living and promote patient dignity
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect everyone
Collaborate with nurses, aides, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Completion of an accredited LPN/vocational nursing program
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team
Previous LPN experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to inquire

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate required
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
Medication administration and documentation accuracy
Comfortable with electronic health record charting
Good communication and teamwork with patients and staff
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Familiarity with infection control and basic wound care principles
