Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to clinic patients within the scope of LPN licensure, ensuring safety and comfort.
Serve as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and staff to coordinate care and follow-up.
Assess patients and take vital signs accurately to inform triage and provider decisions.
Triage patient calls and prioritize needs, escalating to providers or RNs as appropriate.
Manage prescription refills and complete prior authorizations quickly and accurately to keep care on track.
Support and give direction to CNAs and schedulers to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs and improve clinic workflows.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current State LPN license required.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Comfort supervising CNAs and coordinating with schedulers and other clinical staff.
Ability to work collaboratively with providers, coordinators, clinical managers/supervisors, and RNs.

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program (LPN/LVN).

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and taking accurate vital signs.
Clinical triage and prioritization of patient needs.
Experience with prescription refills and prior authorization processes.
Clinic nursing skills with a focus on gastroenterology workflows.
Team collaboration and communication across interdisciplinary teams.
Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
