Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care to patients as directed
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility policy
- Monitor and document patient vitals, status changes, and progress
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to ensure smooth patient transitions
- Communicate clearly with patients and families to educate and support their care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and direct care skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Basic wound care, vital signs monitoring, and infection control principles
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
