Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care that promotes comfort and safety
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Document care accurately in the patient record and maintain clear communication across shifts
• Assist with admissions, discharges and patient teaching to support recovery
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
• Current immunizations per facility policy and ability to pass background checks
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour nursing shifts and providing hands-on patient care

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program; high school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and wound care skills
• Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
• Clear and timely clinical documentation
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
• Professional communication with patients, families and clinical staff
