Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Administer medications and treatments as directed and document accurately
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart/EMR
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate care
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to uphold quality standards

Qualifications

Current, valid LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) — Georgia licensure preferred or eligibility to obtain
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Comfortable with 5.5-hour clinical shifts and working within facility protocols
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Willingness to participate in orientation and follow facility policies

Education

LPN diploma or equivalent vocational nursing program completion

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic clinical nursing skills
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) familiarity and accurate charting
Infection control and safety procedures
Time management and prioritization in a busy care environment
Professional communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
