Shift Type: Per diem / As scheduled, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the nurse in charge
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to maintain comfort and dignity
Perform routine charting and documentation accurately and timely
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
Support mealtime assistance, feeding, and basic nutritional needs

Qualifications

Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification — VT or NH eligibility preferred
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts as needed for per diem coverage
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate clearly with patients and team members
Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient dignity and respectful care

Education

Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program
High school diploma or equivalent; current LNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and ADL support
Skillful in safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Basic charting and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
