Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direction and guidance to hospital staff on policies, procedures, and clinical decision-making
Organize workflow and assign nursing resources to ensure smooth patient flow across units
Monitor employee productivity, deliver constructive feedback, and coach staff for improvement
Assume supervisory and administrative responsibility in collaboration with clinical leaders and the CNO
Coordinate closely with charge nurses and clinical/non-clinical support teams to resolve issues rapidly
Respond to and resolve patient and family complaints with professionalism and empathy
Lead problem-solving efforts during surge or staffing challenges to maintain care quality

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Montana
Degree from a Nursing Program
Minimum 3 years' RN experience in a hospital setting; recent ICU experience preferred
CPR required
ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment
Experience with ventilator support, A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and multiple IV pumps
Proven leadership, strong communication, critical thinking, and customer-service orientation

Education

Degree from a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced nursing principles and procedures, including post-operative and medical patient care
Patient flow management and resource nurse responsibilities
Cardiac monitoring and critical/ICU care skills
Ability to operate advanced medical equipment and multiple IV pumps
Strong teamwork, clinical supervision, and ability to interact at all organizational levels
Comfort using basic office equipment and managing administrative tasks
