Roles & Responsibilities

Provide clear direction and guidance to hospital staff on policies, procedures and daily operations to keep patient care running smoothly.
Organize and optimize workflow across units to ensure efficient patient flow and timely placement.
Assess and allocate nursing resources and staffing in real time to meet patient care needs.
Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer and clinical leaders to make administrative decisions and resolve escalations.
Support and coach charge nurses and bedside staff — monitor productivity, give constructive feedback, and promote professional growth.
Respond promptly to patient and family concerns, de-escalating issues and ensuring excellent patient experience.
Oversee clinical care for patients across the lifespan, including post-operative patients and those requiring advanced cardiac monitoring.
Ensure safe use and oversight of advanced medical equipment (ventilators, A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, multiple IV pumps).

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Montana (required).
Minimum 3 years' RN hospital experience with recent ICU experience required.
Current CPR certification required.
ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
Proven experience in patient flow, resource nursing, and nurse leadership.
Comfortable operating/overseeing advanced equipment (ventilators, invasive lines, chest tubes, IV pumps).
Strong leadership, critical thinking, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Degree from a Nursing Program

Staff supervision and coaching

Clinical leadership and decision making
Advanced nursing principles and post-operative care
Cardiac monitoring and critical care skills
Workflow organization, problem solving, and project development
Use of basic office equipment and multiple IV pumps
Flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork
