Location: York, ME

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours), no call, occasional variable shifts such as 1:00 PM - 1:30 AM due to census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert emergency care to patients in high-stakes situations
Take charge of the ED team during shifts, leading with confidence
Precept and mentor new team members, sharing your knowledge
Respond swiftly to critical needs, making a real difference in lives

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Previous charge experience
Previous preceptor experience
PALS certification preferred

Education

RN required

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency department expertise
Charge nurse leadership
Precepting and training skills
Quick decision-making in fast-paced environments
