Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to patient safety
• Position and prepare patients for CT exams while providing compassionate, clear communication
• Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate imaging protocols are followed
• Maintain imaging equipment and perform routine quality checks to support reliable operations
• Document procedures and patient information in Cerner accurately and promptly
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and hospital policies at all times

Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) required
• ARRT (CT) certified (Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)) required
• CA CRT License required
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Experience with Siemens CT systems required; Toshiba/Canon Aquilion 64 and 16 experience strongly desired
• Cardiac imaging experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to work night shifts (Wednesday-Saturday) and attend orientation

Education

• BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and protocols
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment and Toshiba/Canon Aquilion systems
• Familiarity with Cerner charting and documentation workflows
• Strong patient positioning and radiation safety practices
• Ability to perform cardiac CT studies preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills in an acute care setting
