Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams for emergency department patients accurately and efficiently
• Operate fixed and portable imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality
• Prioritize urgent imaging needs and collaborate with ED clinicians for timely care
• Document procedures and patient information in Meditech Expanse accurately
• Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and equipment cleanliness
• Support a teamwork-focused unit and mentor less-experienced staff when needed

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• CT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of radiology/CT experience (ED or trauma facility experience preferred)
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse is a plus
• Dependable, able to work independently overnight, and comfortable in a fast-paced ED environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT imaging protocols and emergency radiology procedures
• Skilled in portable X-ray technique and positioning
• Solid knowledge of radiation safety and patient care best practices
• Experience using Meditech Expanse or similar EMR systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within an ED team
