Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct resident care with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures
Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care plans

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current TB test/clearance and background check as required by facility
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate resident care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to stand and be active during an 8-hour shift and perform lifting/assistance tasks safely
Willingness to follow facility policies, infection control, and safety protocols

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with basic patient care procedures and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Respectful, patient-centered approach to caregiving
