Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (total hours per shift: 8; exact days and start/end times determined by facility and to be provided by employer)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and care plans
Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the care team
Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies to ensure safety

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain state certification)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required as per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, compassionate approach
Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
