Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients — assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Take and record vital signs, report changes to the nursing team promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support mobility and transfers with proper lifting and safety techniques
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — ability to work in Pennsylvania or obtain state eligibility
Demonstrated compassion and ability to work as part of a care team
Basic competency in taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, and safe patient handling
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks (facility policy)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and teammates
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Comfort with routine clinical tasks: vital signs, ADLs, feeding assistance
Good time management, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes accurately
