Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and lift equipment
Monitor and document resident status and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding, and toileting needs respectfully
Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in resident care areas
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team to promote comfort and continuity

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Valid state-required background checks and immunizations as requested by the facility
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with residents and care teams
Dependable, punctual, and committed to compassionate resident care
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

Current CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Basic technology skills for electronic charting or documentation
