Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with safe transfers and mobility to help residents remain comfortable and independent
Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the nurse or clinical team
Document care accurately and thoroughly to maintain high-quality records
Support meal assistance and feeding when needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach
Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
State CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Resident-centered care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Infection control and basic safety protocols
Accurate charting and documentation practices
Safe resident transfer techniques and body mechanics
Clear communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
