Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Take and document vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
Maintain clear, timely charting and communicate effectively with the care team
Follow infection control protocols and help maintain a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or eligible to obtain certification)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
Compassionate attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Prior patient care or long-term care experience a plus, but eager learners are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
Clear verbal and written communication for care documentation
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety best practices
Teamwork mindset and ability to collaborate with nursing staff
