Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and positioning
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
Support a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible and willing to obtain)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward residents
Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of resident safety and infection control practices
Knowledge of ADLs, mobility assistance, and safe transfer techniques
Basic documentation and charting skills
Teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff and therapists
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
