Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Measure and accurately record vital signs and report changes
Assist with safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Communicate patient status and concerns clearly to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control protocols
Document care activities clearly and timely in patient records
Support residents' emotional and social needs with dignity and respect

Qualifications

Current Pennsylvania CNA certification (required)
BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Dependable, compassionate, and able to perform physical aspects of care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Infection prevention and control practices
Familiarity with basic charting (electronic or paper)
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
