Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting needs
Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes in condition
Document care activities and resident responses clearly and promptly
Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to ensure a safe environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
Demonstrated bedside manner and commitment to resident-centered care
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care setting

Education

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Basic patient handling and safe transfer techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good documentation habits and attention to detail
Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
