Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nurse in charge
Assist with safe patient transfers and positioning to promote comfort and mobility
Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and maintain a clean, safe environment
Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team
Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with nurses and support staff

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
Active authorization to work in the U.S. (as applicable)
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong interpersonal and patient-centered care skills
Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred but not always required
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safe transfer methods
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with nursing staff
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Compassionate approach to patient dignity and privacy
