Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Accurately measure and document vital signs and patient observations
Assist nursing staff with patient mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents and patients
Communicate clearly with the care team and families to support coordinated care
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to keep skills current and patient-focused

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-recognized) — must be in good standing
Active CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain as required by facility
Comfortable assisting with mobility, bathing, feeding, and toileting needs
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Ability to pass required background and health screenings
Willingness to attend orientation (orientation is indicated as required)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care principles and activities of daily living
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills with attention to detail
Teamwork and the ability to follow direction from licensed nursing staff
Compassionate patient interaction and strong interpersonal skills
