Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, grooming, and ADLs
Assist nursing staff with vital signs and basic clinical observations
Support safe transfers and mobility while promoting patient dignity
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team about needs and changes
Maintain accurate documentation and report concerns to licensed nurses
Contribute to a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Participate in team huddles and follow established care plans

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a team
Comfort with basic clinical tasks and resident interaction

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong interpersonal and compassionate bedside manner
Basic clinical skills: bathing, feeding, toileting, ambulation assistance
Good observation and reporting skills for changes in resident condition
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling principles
