Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, prioritizing dignity and comfort
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
Support residents emotionally and socially, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (appropriate for Pennsylvania) in good standing
Minimum clinical experience as a nursing assistant is a plus
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work the assigned shift schedule

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental patient care skills including bathing, feeding, and toileting
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Knowledge of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Basic documentation and charting skills
Teamwork, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
