Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care to adults in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living including mobility, bathing, and nourishment
Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly
Support nurses and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, timely care
Maintain a clean and safe environment while following infection control protocols
Document care accurately in the patient's record and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Experience or interest in acute care settings preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass a background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work as part of a fast-paced team
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safe transfer/ambulation techniques
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observations
Infection control and patient safety practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willingness to learn
Strong teamwork, time management, and prioritization skills
Cultural sensitivity and respectful patient-centered communication
