Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to occupational therapists to deliver patient-centered care
• Assist patients with rehabilitation activities to improve daily living skills
• Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the supervising OT
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the care team
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies and therapeutic techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of COTA experience — required
• Active Texas occupational therapy license or eligible under the licensure compact — required
• Compact allowed (Texas participates in the OT licensure compact)
• No references required at time of submission — streamline your application

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of occupational therapy principles and rehabilitation
• Hands-on experience delivering direct patient support and therapeutic activities
• Good clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment with diverse patients
