Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with compassion and respect
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Observe and record residents’ conditions — vital signs, behaviors, and changes — and promptly report concerns to the nurse
Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
Create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents while following infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear, empathetic communication
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans and quality goals

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state-appropriate) — listed skill: CNA
Ability to work 8-hour shifts as outlined in the posting
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-first approach
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, TB screening) per employer policy

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care and personal care techniques
Infection control and safe-handling practices
Basic vital sign collection and reporting
Proper transfer and safe-lifting techniques
Accurate documentation and effective communication within the care team
