Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-18-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (exact start/end times and days to be confirmed by facility) - 8:00 hour shift length, shift type: day/evening/night schedule to be assigned

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, helping residents with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while promoting dignity
Take and record vital signs, observe and report changes in patient condition
Support nursing staff with safe transfers and positioning
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate clearly with the care team
Help create a warm, home-like environment and engage residents in meaningful interactions

Qualifications

Current, active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Ability to pass facility background checks and health screenings
Comfortable working 8-hour shift patterns and standing/assisting patients for your shift
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward older adults
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
Basic vital signs collection and observation skills
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear verbal and written communication for charting and shift reports
Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
