Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming and feeding
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support mobility and safe transfers while following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly with residents, families and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing
Completion of an approved CNA training program
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Comfortable providing direct patient care and working as part of a team
Positive attitude, strong communication skills and empathy for residents

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills such as taking vital signs and assisting with ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
Strong observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and families
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
