Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting while preserving dignity
• Measure and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers, ambulation and mobility needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate observations to nurses
• Follow infection control practices and facility safety protocols
• Engage patients and families with empathy and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification for Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB test per facility policy
• Dependable, compassionate, team-oriented with strong patient focus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and recognition of patient changes
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Accurate charting and documentation skills
• Infection control and standard precaution practices
• Clear communication and teamwork with clinical staff and families
