Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility support
• Take and record vital signs and observe for changes in patient condition
• Document care accurately and communicate observations to nursing staff
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care and improve outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and support
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable, professional, and committed to patient dignity and safety

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident assistance techniques
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Infection control practices and patient safety fundamentals
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and team members
