Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
• Accurately document care and observations in resident records
• Contribute to a positive team culture and resident-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift and picking up per diem coverage
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to pass required background checks and facility screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of state-approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with ADLs and safe resident transfers
• Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
• Teamwork and clear communication with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Basic electronic or paper charting skills
