Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Assist with safe transfers and ambulation to promote independence
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals and nutritional needs while encouraging dignity and respect
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Document care activities clearly and communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families through kind, patient-centered interactions

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing (required)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per-diem availability
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background checks and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient hygiene
• Familiarity with vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Reliable documentation and communication skills with clinical staff
• Compassionate bedside manner and the ability to prioritize patient safety
