Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Provide compassionate hands-on care while maintaining patient dignity and safety
• Support mobility and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
• Document care and observations in the patient record promptly and clearly
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
• Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans
• Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs during busy shifts
