Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living with dignity and compassion
• Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
• Document care accurately and promptly to keep the care team informed
• Follow infection control practices to keep residents and staff safe
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Comfortable working per diem evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
• Accurate documentation and effective communication with nursing staff
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Ability to follow care plans and take direction from licensed nurses
